The Highland Gardens of Scotland Tour

Many travelers who venture "north of the border" find themselves captivated by the Highlands, leaving a part of their heart behind. The stunning scenery, enchanting stories and legends, and the rich history of the proud and independent people combined to make a memorable experience. The Highlands are truly inviting! Although the weather is a bit more severe than that of their southern neighbors, Scots have embraced the British love of gardening with enthusiasm. Whether it’s cozy private gardens or the sprawling grounds of grand castles, breathtaking natural beauty or the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (Britain’s second-oldest, founded in 1670), this journey promises a garden lover's paradise.

We'll spend several days in Edinburgh's fascinating Old Town, exploring its atmospheric, winding streets filled with history. Walking the Royal Mile from Edinburgh Castle, visiting St. Giles’ Cathedral, and taking day trips into the picturesque countryside are all part of the adventure. Expect spontaneous stops and detours, ample opportunities for a dram at a local pub or distillery, and the chance to enjoy Scotland’s most scenic roads and landscapes.
